I’ve known Randy for 6 years but when my wife and I bought a new home in July, we didn’t want to “mix business with pleasure”. We decided to use the seller’s real estate agent and she referred us to a mortgage broker that she trusted. On their advice, we sold our home and waived the financing condition on our purchase, but then due to an unforeseen job change, the broker struggled to get us approved for a mortgage - even with 25% down. After pushing our closing date 3 times, we were left with the very real possibility of being homeless.
